I began in a field of art that can be described as still in the throes of evolution -- to the extent that no definitive name has emerged to define it. At various times I have heard terms ranging from digital photography and digital painting through to electronic art, computer art, digital art, or digital fine art used to define the process, and digital photographer used to define me.
Put simply, I used a computer to produce fine art - occasionally from an electronic stylus.
As I have explored and expanded my art I found I would work on one "subject" until I tired of it, or had mastered it to my satisfaction - or a few times answered my unanswered questions. Each series holds significance, and sometimes a stage in my evolution. The series also show - I hope - my growth in my ability of expressing the world as I see it?or wish it was.
The verbose me would say my art is the "aesthetic manifestations of the spiritual, the visual, and the intellectual".
Pablo Picasso sums up my ongoing relationship with every medium I fall in love with. I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it.
It is my goal to inspire with unique & contemporary artwork. Sometimes I hope you will find it provocative, other times I hope you find it serene. You will find a variety of media including original paintings, pencil sketches, digital, sculpture, mixed media and sculptural furniture. The contemporary art here spans many types including; but not limited to styles as abstract, expressionism, impressionism, and minimalism.
